第11回 東京マラソンTokyo Marathon 2017 & マラソン祭り in 浅草

東京2月の風物詩「東京マラソン」(Tokyo Marathon 2017, 主催:一般財団法人東京マラソン財団) が開催され、国内外から約36,000人のランナーが参加し、今回から新たになった都心エリアの主要観光スポットを巡る42.195kmの高速ランニングコース(Start 東京都庁-飯田橋-神田-日本橋-浅草雷門-両国-門前仲町-銀座-高輪-日比谷-Finish 東京駅前・行幸通り)を駆け抜けた。また、沿道各所においては、マラソン祭り(全24会場)などランナー応援関連イベント(主催:東京都)が同時開催され、東京マラソン出場記念撮影スポットとして人気の高い浅草「浅草寺」雷門前では、金龍舞や浅草芸者衆による和太鼓演舞などのランナー応援パフォーマンスが繰り広げられた。優勝はウィルソン・キプサング(ケニア)、女子はサラ・チェプチルチル(ケニア)

第24回東京ガールズコレクション Tokyo Girls Collection 2017SS at 国立代々木競技場第一体育館

東京渋谷で第24回「東京ガールズコレクション2017 Spring/Summer」(Tokyo Girls Collection）が開催され、会場となった代々木第一体育館には約31,400人が詰めかけ、人気のRunway横アリーナは開演直後から入場制限がかかる程の大盛況ぶり 。今季は”Female Hero”をテーマに、”フェミ見せ”,　”ストリートグランジ”,　”NEWレイヤード”,　”ボタニカルサファリ”をテーマにしたランウェイショーが繰り広げられ、Live Music Performances、Candy GirlポップアートをFeaturingした京友禅で知られる吉川染匠との着物コラボ企画など、約6時間を超すTGCスペシャルコンテンツ満載のガールズイベントで、会場は終演まで盛り上がりを見せた。また、オープニングには小池百合子東京都知事がスペシャルゲストとして駆けつけ、2018年NY国連本部でのショー開催などがアナウンスされた。

東京マラソンEXPO 2017が開幕 at 東京ビッグサイト

2/26開催の「東京マラソン Tokyo Marathon 2017」に先立ち、2/23から始まるランナーゼッケン配布に合わせ、その配布会場となる東京ビッグサイト(東京都江東区有明)で、東京マラソンEXPO 2017 (Tokyo Marathon Expo 2017)が開幕。 人気のTokyo Marathon限定ランニングTシャツや最新ランニングアパレル・シューズ・Goods等を買い求める多くの外国人客などで初日から賑わいを見せた。2/25までの開催 (主催:一般財団法人東京マラソン財団)
