Amazon Fashion Week TOKYO 2017AW in Shibuya Tokyo

東京渋谷で国内最大のファッションイベント「Amazon Fashion Week TOKYO 2017A/W」が開幕。渋谷ヒカリエを中心に各会場で2017年秋冬Runway Show・展示会等が3/25までの日程で開催される。(主催:一般社団法人JFW推進機構)

The LaQua「阿南の日2017」阿波おどり

寒波の影響で小雪も舞う東京ドームシティ・ラクーア(東京都文京区)で、年始恒例となっている「阿南の日」阿波おどりが2日間開催され、会場となったLaQua Garden 「ギャラクシードーム」 (2014年ノーベル物理学賞を受賞した青色LED誕生地として知られる徳島県阿南市”阿南光のまちづくり協議会”が手がけるLEDイルミネーション併設のステージ) には、阿波から「藍吹雪 Aifubuki」のメンバー数名が揃いの藍染浴衣(Awa Natural Indigo Dyeing 阿波で製造される藍染めの天然染料は”阿波藍“と呼ばれ、江戸時代、阿波藩が専売としていた阿波の特産品）で登場し、躍動感漂う本場阿波の”ぞめき”(阿波おどりのお囃子)のリズムを披露♪ また今開催の演舞後半には、スペシャルゲストも登場し、絶妙な提灯さばきと暴れ踊りのパフォーマンスで観客を魅了していた。
The annual Anan Days Fest 2017 was held for two days at the LaQua Garden Galaxy Dome in Tokyo. The Galaxy Dome featuring the 2014 Nobel Prize Awarded Awa-Born Blue LED lights with Metal Frames, which was produced by the Ana City of Awa, Japan.

阿波の藍なら昔を今に 染まる色香は変りゃせぬ – 木綿の普及による革命的な衣料・ファッションの変革と藍染

江戸時代元禄期頃(1688-)からの全国的な木綿の普及は、庶民の衣服に革命的な変革をもたらし、藍が木綿に良く染めつくことから藍染めの染料として藍の需要は急増し、古来から勝色として武将達にも好まれていた藍染はその抗菌・防臭作用も相まって、庶民生活にとって欠かせないものとなった。

収穫された葉藍は藍師の下で、藍染め染料の「藍玉」(臼などで”すくも”を突き固めて固形化したもの)として商品化され、阿波藍商人(藍玉問屋)によって全国に取引されて行き、各地の機業地で優れた織物製品を数多く生み出した。その品質の高さから、阿波で生産される藍玉は阿波藍と呼ばれ、阿波は藍染め染料の日本最大生産地として、天下に名を馳せていくこととなる。

江戸の神田紺屋町は、慶長年間に徳川家康から軍功として藍染めの権利を与えられた紺屋頭土屋五郎右衛門が支配していた江戸古町の一つで、江戸を代表する藍染めの浴衣と手拭の大半は、紺屋町一帯の染物屋で染められていた。「その年の流行は紺屋町に行けばわかる」と言われていたほどで、紺屋町の名物が江戸の名物であった。「場違い」という言葉は、神田紺屋町以外で染める浴衣や手拭い染めのことを、江戸人がそう呼んだことに由来するといわれている。

Shibuya Illumination 2016 渋谷イルミネーション at 渋谷ハチ公前広場

師走のイルミネーション点灯式ラッシュに沸く東京渋谷・ハチ公前広場で「Shibuya Illumination 2016」(渋谷イルミネーション)点灯式が開催され、約8メートルのクリスマスツリーと周辺樹木にGreen AppleをFeaturingしたLEDイルミネーションが灯った。渋谷ハチ公イルミネーション点灯期間は12/9から12/25まで(点灯時間:16:00-24:00。主催:道玄坂商店街振興組合)
