成田伝統芸能まつり The Narita Performance Art Fest 2016 阿波おどり


千葉県成田市で「成田伝統芸能まつり2016」(日本各地から伝統芸能・舞踊などを一堂に介した伝統芸能フェスティバル。主催:成田伝統芸能まつり実行委員会)が2日間開催され、成田山新勝寺(関東有数の参詣者を誇る著名寺院)総門前ステージ・表参道・成田スカイタウンホールなど各会場でのステージパフォーマンス、夕刻からはイベント出演者らが成田山表参道を練り歩く”伝統芸能パレード”が繰り広げられた。

開会式には、成田屋の屋号で知られる江戸歌舞伎役者11代目市川海老蔵はじめ(今開催成田国際文化会館でNarita x Kabuki 市川海老蔵 特別舞踊公演を同時開催)、成田市と友好都市協定を締結した台湾桃園市(成田-台北/桃園空港間は週140便以上運行)からの関係者らも出席し、桃園市舞踊団が台湾伝統芸能を披露。
演舞プログラムにおいては、本場の阿波おどりが成田で楽しめる希少な機会ということもあって、成田山門前町で繰り広げられる阿波おどりは特に人気を博しており、開会式直後の総門前ステージでは2016年阿波おどり観光ポスターのモデルにもなっている”さゝ連”の踊り子も登場し、抜群に際立ったキレのある女踊りのパフォーマンスで観客を魅了していた。
The Narita Traditional Performance Art Fest 2016 was held for two days in Narita Chiba Japan. A Female AwaOdori Dancer of The SASA-REN from Awa is entering into the Naritasan Sohmon Gate Stage and Stunning Dance Performance after the opening ceremony of NPAF2016.

Several blocks of Shibuya shopping district (Tokyu Bunkamura St and Dogenzaka to the Hachiko crossing in Tokyo) were turned into a special temporary pedestrian zone for Halloween night to keep huge crowds from disrupting traffic, following the last year.
