第45回「神楽坂まつり」阿波おどり2016


牛込見附および牛込橋が阿波藩主蜂須賀忠英(Tadateru Hachisuka, 松平阿波守)により、江戸城外堀に建設されて以来、今年で380周年となる東京飯田橋(東京都千代田区飯田橋)・神楽坂地区(東京都新宿区神楽坂)で、「第45回神楽坂まつり阿波おどり」(主催:神楽坂通り商店会)が二日間に渡り開催され、会場となった神楽坂下から赤城神社にかけての沿道 (神楽坂毘沙門天善國寺を中心とする会場)は、連日足の踏み場もないほどの賑わいで盛り上がりをみせた。The Kagurazaka Matsuri 2016 AwaOdori Fest was held for two days in Kagurazaka Tokyo. The 380th Anniversary of the UshiGome-bashi Bridge on the sotobori moat of Edo Castle (based on the Uchigome-Mitsuke Gate) since it was originally built by the lord of Awa in 1636.

文化庁日本遺産認定「淡路島」国生みの島淡路 古代国家を支えた海人の営み Awaji Island, Japan Heritage 2016


文化庁が淡路島を”日本遺産”に認定 (Japan Heritage, 地域の歴史的魅力や特色を通じ日本の文化・伝統を語るストーリーを文化庁が認定するもの)。2016年4月の日本遺産審査委員会の審議を経て、本年度の日本遺産(Japan Heritage)認定結果を発表した。

Overview of the story: 我が国最古の歴史書「古事記」冒頭を飾る”国生み神話”。この天地創造神話冒頭に誕生する特別な島が淡路島です。その背景には、新時代の幕開けを告げる金属器文化をもたらし、後に塩づくりや巧みな航海術で畿内の王権や都の暮らしを支えた海人(Ama)と呼ばれる海の民の存在がありました。瀬戸内海最大の島は、古代国家形成期の中枢を支えた海人(Ama)の歴史を今に伝える島です。
The Awaji Island was designated as Japan Heritage 2016 by the Agency for Cultural Affairs Japan.

渋谷パルコで最後のファッションショー at Shibuya Parco 公園通り広場

渋谷パルコ(東京都渋谷区)が、本年8月からの建替え一時休業(渋谷パルコ Part1とPart3を地上20階建の大型複合ビルへ建替え。来年3月に着工し2019年秋開業予定)を前に、1973年開業の渋谷パルコ Part1 公園通り広場で最後となる「さよなら、またね。デモ、Last Show」と題したFashion Showを開催。8月7日最終営業日へ向け渋谷パルコのクロージングイベントがスタートした。
